SWEP has transferred to a bigger office
As the company welcomes 2009, SWEP transferred it’s base of operations to a bigger office in Las Piñas. Just a few minutes away from the old showroom, the new office is just beside the premier village, Ayala Alabang. The new office is bigger which can accommodate more stocks to serve all existing and potential clients.
SWEP installed 25 kW Solar Application at SunPower plant.
In order to cope up with various client requirements, SWEP has proudly included Fronius and Helix Wind as one of their key partners. Fronius has been in the photovoltaic business for 14 years to date and continues to provide consumers with effective systems for various applications. The Fronius IG Plus Grid-Tie Inverter provides user-friendly data monitoring and ease with it’s plug and play installation. Helix Wind provides areas with low winds a good value for their money with their vertical axis wind turbines. With various sizes to choose from, it would be fit to any residential and commercial consumers.
SWEP appointed as partner in SunPower’s Batangas project
SunPower has donated twelve (12) solar arrays to the town of Tanauan in Batangas and SWEP is appointed to assist them in the supply and installation of the system. The system is a 2.50 kW. Grid-Tie System with the use of the Fronius IG Plus 3.0 to help in the generation of the power requirements of the school.
SWEP Showroom Opening
SWEP will have its showroom opening on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at its main office (showroom) in Westgate, Alabang. The event will be attended by the SunPower Executives and other distinguished guests. Also, in this particular event, main product line, such as solar panels, inverters, batteries, solar charger, water pump, and service of the company will be presented. The event will start at 4:00 P.M. until 7 P.M.
SWEP joins EL NIDO RESORTS on their environment awareness
El Nido Resort’s campaign, BE G.R.E.E.N. (Guard, Respect, Educate, El Nido), is further reinforced with their use of the sun’s power as an alternative source of their energy needs. Their 4.84 kW. Photovoltaic system is installed on their new Sea View Rooms and adds to the beauty of lush sceneries of the resort.
Successful Showroom Opening
SWEP’s showroom event held last Saturday, August 11, 2007 was a grand success. Thanks for the calm and sunny weather for making the event happen. Highlight of this event, was the presence of SunPower Vice-President for Operations Mr. and Mrs. Greg Reichow. Also present on the said event were Ayala Alabang Brgy. Captain Roland Pineda and his son Jovie, Dustin Andaya, Martin and Tess Aguirre and Felix Guggenheim.

Solar and Wind Electric Power, Inc. (SWEP), the innovative company that installs solar panels to subsidize electrical consumption, has just launched its first major project in Laguna. SunPower plant in Technopark, Sta. Rosa has just welcomed a 25-kilo watt solar application on April 2007.
3- DAY SEMINAR with SunPower
Aiming to become a certified SunPower installer, SWEP participated in a three-day seminar held in Technopark Hotel at Sta. Rosa, Laguna on May 22-27. The event that was attended by SWEP executives discussed the usage and benefits of solar panels and its components, as well as the pioneering SunPower GT inverter.

520watt Solar Application in Alas Asin, Rizal.
Solar energy provides electricity to the out-of-grid piggery farm of Mr. Robert Ignacio in Alas Asin, Rizal, thanks to SWEP's 520-watt solar application. On July 31, the piggery was installed with 4 solar panels, 4 batteries and 1 inverter as the main source of electricity.
